New Nigeria Peoples Party's (NNPP) delegates from 774 local government areas across Nigeria have confirmed former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso as the party's presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.

The party fielded the former Kano state governor unopposed at a meeting held on Wednesday in the capital, Abuja.
Kwankwaso will now face off against Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC and other presidential candidates in next year's elections.
Senator Kwankwaso has said that if elected president of Nigeria he will improve education, security and education and wipe away the tears of the poor.
