Sule Nasiru emerged victorious in his first match of the Table Tennis Men’s

 


Team Nigeria's duo of Grace Nwokocha and Rosemary Chukwuma have qualified for the final of the 100m women's event. 

The two Athletes finished their heats in the Women’s category on 11:05, 11:06 seconds.

In another development, Sule Nasiru emerged victorious in his first match of the Table Tennis Men’s event in the Para category with a brilliant 3-0 win over Canadian Muhammad Mudassar.

Still on table tennis, Esther Oribamise was too hot for Sadia Mou of Bangladesh as she beat her by 11-2, 11- 7, 11-3, 11-5 in a four straight sets 

Earlier on Wednesda she defeated Roanna ABEL from Vanuatu by 11-4, 11-4, 11-4, 11-2.

While On a boxing, Nigeria’s representative, Yetunde Egunjobi lost to Savannah Alfia of England in the quarterfinals of the Women’s over 48kg-50kg (Light Fly) after round three with five points.
