Available reports indicate that Ummita from the Ummukulsum family and the Chinese Man were in a relationship, it’s unclear what could have prompted him to stab her to death at her parent's home in Kano Friday Night 16 September 2022.

Amid the incident, some Twitter handlers alleged she declined the Chinese man’s love proposal. Investigation is ongoing.
