Acting Gov. Kaduna State charges the 23 Council chairmen to prioritise health care provision to their people.

Kaduna State Government has instituted a Primary Health Care (PHC) Leadership challenge among the 23 local government chairmen to drive efforts towards improving healthcare service delivery at the PHC level across the state.

Acting Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe today launched the challenge during the monthly PHC Review meeting of the State chaired by her.

The Deputy Governor , who is also Public Health Physician charged the 23 Council chairmen to prioritise health care provision to their people and said rewards will be given to the best performing Local Government Councils.

Consequently, a steering committee has been constituted to be headed by the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Amina Baloni, which along a body of independent verifiers will serve as panel to score the performances of the local government councils.
