A while ago Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Director General of his campaign organization, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state, were separately guests at the Washington DC studios of the Hausa Service of the Voice of America (VOA).
Both of them, in separate interviews fielded questions from the Head of the Hausa Service, Aliyu Mustapha Sokoto and a staff of the station respectively, on the candidate’s vision for Nigeria if he is elected as President next year and what their mission was to America.
The presidential candidate wrote on his FACEBOOK handle that he “just finished an engaging interview on the Voice of America, where I spoke extensively on my plans to recover and restore Nigeria.”
Alhaji Atiku’s session was with Aliyu Mustapha Sokoto while that with Gov. Tambuwal was with the Executive Producer (Television) of the VOA, Mallam Haruna Shehu Mararraban Jos.
