Nigeria-German defender, Felix Uduokhai has send a shocker down the spine of Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro by temporarily Snubbing a call to the Super Eagles.
NPFL UPDATE revealed that hhe German International was believed to be an asset Peseiro would want in the national team with the form and performances of the defenders at his disposal consistently fluctuating on matchdays.
Shockingly, the 25-year-old talked down on a potential switch to Nigeria, stressing that now isn't the right time for that kind of discussion.
"We're going to see," Uduokhai said in an interview when asked if he's going to join Kevin Akpoguma is playing for Nigeria.
"For me, the most important thing is that whatever you do you decide with your heart. It's a decision I have to make, maybe not now but it's a decision I want to make when I'm hundred percent sure I want to make that step."
"Right now, I'm not in a position to say let's do this or that, I need some time," he continued.
"We're going to see what happens in the next few weeks and months," he added.
In case you missed it, Uduokhai having represented Germany at youth levels was invited to the senior national team few years ago, but is not yet capped; so, another call-up maybe lurking hence the shocking decision to remain mute at the moment.
