NGO donates food items and textile Materials to over one thousand people in Jaba

In the spirit of Christmas, a non governmental organisation has distributed food items and textile Materials to over one thousand people in Jaba local government area of Kaduna.

The event which is an annual programme was, by Caleb Danladi Foundation, and is

 geared towards given the benefiaries sense of belonging to celebrate the the Christmas with ease.

The  ltems worth millions of naira were distributed to widows, orphans and lessprevillage across Jaba local government area to give them succour as  the celebrate the Christmas and new year. 

Speaking the founder of the foundation, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako said the gesture is to complement government efforts in reducing the economic hardship faced by the people. 

Captain Danladi said he has made it a duty to celebrate the Christmas every year with the downtrodden in Jaba local government area by supporting them financially and materially to carry them along and give them hope.

Captain Danladi who thanked God for the opportunity under scored the importance of giving back to the community through selfless service and urged the benefiaries to use the items judiciously. 

He said special medical services were also included in the programme this year, where people with different kind of illnesses,  treated free. 

Captain Danladi said the foundation has concluded arrangements to enroll retired clergies in Jaba local government area into Kaduna state health insurance scheme in addition to the over two hundred lessprevillage registered into the scheme early this year. 

He said the plan to enroll retired pastors into the health insurance scheme was necessary looking at the situation the found themselves after retiring from active service.. 

On the ongoing construction of Dorcas Danladi memorial skill acquisition centre in Sambang gida by the foundation, the founder said the centre is expected to be completed and commissioned  early next year, where women and youth would be trained on verious skills and graft. 

Captain Danladi expressed satisfaction with the turn out of people who grace the occasion, and described the presence of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and the, jammaatul Nasir Islam JNI as a testimony of the peace and tranquility being enjoyed in Jaba local government area. 

In seperate remarks, the Bishop, Anglican diocese of Kwoi, Rev... ECWA DCC, Sec Kwoi, Paul Samuel Zamani and the secretary ECWA Kwoi, DCC, Reverend Galadima Auta Yakubu commended the founder of Caleb Danladi foundation for concern and care for the less previlage in the area, describing the distribution of the food items as timely. 

The two clerics said the gesture would no doubt complement the efforts by government especially the recent distribution of rice to women by wife of president Boka Ahmed Tinubu, and urged other wealthy individuals to emulate the kind gesture of the Caleb Danladi Foundation.

In seperate good will messages, stakeholders at the event, including traditional rulers and religious leaders said the commitment to the Caleb Danladi Foundation in providing social services to the people particularly the lessprevillage is worth of emulations.
