Protesters stormed Nnamdi Azikwe Bye-pass Kaduna over the inability of authorities to rescue the remaining Kaduna-Abuja train passengers.

 Thousands of youths and women staged a peaceful protest to press home to authorities towards rescued the remaining people that kidnapped at kaduna train attack that are still in captivity.


The protesters who stormed Nnamdi Azikwe By-pass kaduna were seen holding placards with different inscriptions expressed their sadness over the inability of authorities to rescue the remaining passengers.

It could recall that on 28 march 2022 unknow gun attack hundred passengers on way to kaduna from Abuja and kidnapped many of the took them to the bush.

Recently The terrorists released new video, showing the terrorists manhandling some of the victims and flogging them with sticks while the victims cried and pleaded for help.

Some of the relatives of kidnapped victims interviewed during the protest said they are appealing to the government should do their best to secure the release of their relatives.

The protesters lamented how government is showing nonchalant attitude of ugly situation found themselves on the hand of the captive.

The protesters which comprise some relative of the victims calling on government to pleased do what is needful to rescue the victims who are in a sorry situation.

They also appealed to the security agents to intensify surveillance towards identity the location of the bandits and rescue them.

They said almost one hundred and twenty-five days they are in captivity in this regard, our people need to be free from their abductors.

Although some of the train passengers kidnapped in March have been released, many after the payment of ransom, 43 of the captives including the son of a former military governor of Kano state, Idris Garba, his wife and children are still in captivity

President Muhammadu Buhari, in June, directed security agencies to explore every means possible to immediately secure the release of the kidnapped passengers.
