Ronaldo remains part of the Man United project

Cristiano Ronaldo speculation continues, with some talk now of Manchester United possibly terminating his contract.

Ronaldo remains part of the Man United project and there is no intention of parting ways with him. This is the thinking within the club, and with Ten Hag.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has stated his desire to "change quickly" after the team's 4-0 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.

The boss is adamant that hard work, togetherness and new blood will help overturn a winless start to the Premier League season after the defeats to Brighton and Brentford.

“We expected a different start. It seems like what happened in the past, last season, we have to change.

“We need new players, we need quality players and we will do everything to convince them to come.” he added.

“Only when we stick together and we work hard we’ll [get] over it. The belief, you have to bring on the pitch for yourself and as a team.”

United started confidently at the Gtech Community Stadium, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford showing sharp touches on the ball. However, individual mistakes soon fuelled the home side, adding heat to the already blazing conditions in West London.

Manchester United or Diogo Dalot camp have not been approached by Barcelona. He's appreciated internally but there are no negotiations ongoing, as of now.

Dalot's highly rated by ten Hag - while Aaron Wan Bissaka has always been considered available on the market.
