RB Leipzig will sign both Benjamin Šeško and Timo Werner on permanent deal, confirmed.
Exclusive: agreement set to be completed for Benjamin Šeško, RB Salzburg turned down the proposal to sell him this summer and so Šeško will join RB Leipzig in June 2023.
Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG asked for Šeško but he’s happy to stay for one more season and then join Leipzig in 2023 with a five year contract.
Timo Werner will undergo medical tests and sign contract as new RB Leipzig player on Tuesday, full agreement reached on Sunday with Chelsea for €20m plus add-ons. It’s permanent deal.
The strategy is clear: Timo Werner and then Benjamin Šeško will be part of the new attack with Christopher Nkunku expected to leave the club in 2023.
