Gunmen killed two people in Katsina

The police force in Katsina state has confirmed that Gunmen killed two people when they attacked a village in Kankara local government.

However, the army said that its officers managed to chase away the gunmen and rescued 18 people who were attempted to be kidnapped.

The spokesperson of the police force in Katsina state, SP Gambo Isa said that the two people who died were killed before the police could take them.

The attackers on motorcycles attacked the village of Gidan Baushe in the middle of Wednesday night.

However, after the police were informed about the attack, they quickly chased away the attackers and rescued some of the people they had stolen.
