Microsoft will train five million Nigerians

Nigeria and the technology company Microsoft have signed an agreement to provide training to five million people in the country.

On Wednesday 12 October, 2022, the Minister of Communications and Technology of Nigeria, Isa Ali Pantami, led the country's delegation to the signing of the agreement, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Nigeria hopes that the move will help strengthen the skills of young people in the field of modern communication, create jobs, and develop the economy.

The minister stated this while speaking to BBC that the program is expected to start soon, and it will be implemented for five years.
