Federal government to rebuild Tudun Biri Community in Kaduna State

Tudun Biri Community will be rebuilt to become one of the best communities in the North Western part of Nigeria.

The Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima stated this when he led the federal government's delegation on a condolence visit to the government and people of Kaduna state over Sunday's Military drone attack at Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government area.

The Vice President who arrived Kaduna in company of the Minister of Defence, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the Speaker of the House of representatives, Tajudeen Abbas and the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje among other officials took time to visit some of the injured victims admitted at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.

Speaking in an interview after the inspection, the Vice President expressed shock over the incident and vowed to punish whoever is    found wanting in the drone bombing that led to the death of about one hundred people.

Senator Kashim Shettima assured that government will do everything possible to remedy the sufferings of the victims by taking good care of them.

He said Tudun Biri will be the first beneficiary of the Federal Government’s “Fulaku Initiative” that seeks to address the problem of security in northern Nigeria through the use of non-kinetic approach which is due to commence next month.

The Vice Present later proceeded to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House where he addressed leaders of the community, traditional and religious leaders as well as other government officials.

Senator Shettima commended Kaduna State Government for taking immediate and appropriate response to the disaster which helped reducing its impact.

Responding, Governor Uba Sani appreciated the President for sending the delegation to commiserate with the people of the state and responding to the call for immediate investigation into the incident.

He also commended the religious leaders for cooperating with the government, assuring that compensation will be paid and houses will be rebuilt.
