Kaduna State Vigilante Service (KADVS) has reiterated its dedication to supporting the security initiatives of the state government, aiming to safeguard the lives and property of the people in the region.
The State Commandant of the Service, Retired Brigadier General Umar Muhammad Ibrahim, affirmed this commitment after addressing the officers and personnel of the Service, who subsequently embarked on a show of force in various parts of the Kaduna metropolis.
Officers and personnel gathered at the command headquarters in Kaduna, fully equipped and prepared to collaborate with National Security agents in upholding law and order within the state.
In an interview, Retired Brigadier General Umar Muhammad Ibrahim explained that the routine exercise sends a clear message to criminals, urging them to abstain from engaging in any criminal activities. He pledged the Service's readiness to complement the state government and other security agencies in their collective efforts to maintain lasting peace and foster development.
The State Commandant urged the officers and personnel of KADVS to execute their duties diligently for effective results. Additionally, he called upon the residents of the state to embrace peace and extend their support to the command, ensuring the adequate security of lives and property.
As the Kaduna State Vigilante Service intensifies its commitment, the state anticipates improved security measures and a safer environment for its citizens.
