Introduction of youth empowerment and education development programmes would be the focus of the newly elected executive members of the youth Wing of the Southern Kaduna People Union.
The newly elected national youth coordinator of the Union, comrade Daniel Ibrahim Kariq, started this while speaking shortly after the election in Kafanchan.
Comrade Daniel Kariq who commended members of the union especially delegates for the peaceful conduct of the election despite the challenges encountered at the beginning of the exercise said he would not fail them.
Comrade Kariq said he would operate an open door policy and carry every body alone especially those that contested with him but could not win for overall development of zone.
He said southern Kaduna is bless with both human and natural resources that if properly harnessed will change the current narrative of the area, socially and economically.
Comrade Kariq said youths are viable assets and backbone of development at all level and no amount of time or resources spent on them is a waste.
The new youth coordinator said he would use his wealth of experience to attract and seek collaboration with both government and non governmental organisations to better the well being of the youth in Southern Kaduna.
He said it is high time for the youth to avoid over dependent on white colar job and embrace viable ventures that will make them self-reliance and productive in the society.
Comrade Kariq who commended the state government for the commitment towards improving the the education sector and the security challenges bedevilling the state called for more proactive measures to safeguard the lives and property of the people particularly southern Kaduna.
